I'm a chemical engineer who specializes in solving problems with code, specifically, Python. I think my best traits are my ambition and aptitude to learn. If I don't understand something I'm going to figure it out. I'm driven by a desire to challenge myself and learn new things. I'm fascinated by intriguing problems, and implementing modern solutions.
I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a chemical engineering degree in June, 2020. After graduation I began to teach myself Python. I enjoyed it so much I enrolled and completed General Assembly's Data Science Immersive bootcamp. This bootcamp provided over 480 hours of instruction in Python allowing me to truly become fluent in the language. Through this course I gained valuable experience in machine learning, neural networks, and cloud computing, which I plan to apply to the field of engineering. My dream is to start a career where I blend both worlds; an engineer who solves problems with code.
